What a cruddy day...I had a pile of stuff to get done that was literally 6 inches thick. It seemed like I had nonstop interruptions and dumb questions all day long, thus preventing me from getting through more than 2 of the 6 inches of paperwork. After 8 hours, I could hardly wait to throw off my working attitude and be free! There were so many times that I wanted to stand up on my desk and start singing "We're not gonna take it!" at the top of my lungs before walking out the door. Alas, reality set in before I could follow the rebel in my head. The bills to pay, the responsibilities, and the fact that I need a job...bah! Someday, I will be able to truly say that I'm not going to take it anymore but today wasn't it. At least I can still sing it and feel empowered in the thought of someday being free from the working world and doing my own thing!
